Who does not love cheese and crackers? Charcuterie boards are one of my favorite things because they can be big or small, complex or simple. They can have a infinite number of combinations of different cheeses, crackers, and meats. Think of your cutting board as a blank canvas!

I have a pretty much a go to cheese board, which is listed below. I get all my cheeses, meat, fig jam, and the fig and olive crackers from Trader Joe's. As a healthy alternative cracker, I get Nut Thins. These are found at any normal grocery store or even Target.

Cheese:

Brie

Gryére

Goat Cheese: whipped with honey

Meat:

Prosciutto

Spread:

Fig Jam

Crackers:

Flatbread crackers

Fig and Olive

Nut Thins

Fruit and Nuts:

Strawberry

Apricot

Almonds

It's Not Bad To Think Small

If you are only entertaining one or two friends, maybe even a date night plat, I suggest doing more of a paired down board. These are two of my favorite combinations.

Brie, Prosciutto, Fig Jam, and a basic cracker.

Whipped Goat cheese with honey and fig and olive crackers
